Announcement of the Tragic Passing of
Shabbir Ahmad Lodhi sahib

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Ever Merciful.

It is with great sadness that we inform the members of the Jamaat
about the passing of respected Shabbir Ahmad Lodhī Sahib, son of
respected Mian Muhammad Shafī Sahib, who passed away on 8th
November 2024, Friday, around 11:30 AM, by the will of Allah. Inna
Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un.
The propagation of Ahmadiyyat in his family began through his
grandfather, respected Mian Shahabuddin Sahib of Lodhi Nangal, who
had the honor of joining the Jamaat by taking the Bai'at during the
early years of the second Khilafat. Shabbir Ahmad Lodhī Sahib was
born on 15th September 1962 in Qila Kallarwala, Sialkot, Pakistan. He
completed his education with an MA and B.Ed., and professionally he
was associated with teaching as an SST (Secondary School Teacher).
His national services spanned a long period of 35 years, and he
retired in September 2022 at the 19th grade.
In 1976, he moved to Gujranwala for his high school studies and
resided there until 1988. From 1988 to 2024, he lived in Muridke. By
the grace of Allah, he started rendering significant Jamaat services at
a young age, and his contributions in Pakistan were numerous. Before
moving to Canada, he served as the President of Jamaat Muridke,
District Sheikhupura. He was also serving as Secretary of Nashr-o-
Ashat and Nazim Maal of Majlis Ansarullah here in Peal Village at the
time of his passing. Additionally, he held many important positions,
including:
-President of Ahmadiyya Student Association, Gujranwala
(1980-1984)
- Qaid Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Muridke for 9 years
- Nigran Halqa Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya
- Naib Zaeem Majlis Ansarullah Muridke, Nazim Waqar-e-amal,
Nazim Rishteh-Nata.
- He also served as Imam us Salat, General Secretary, Secretary
Tarbiyat, Secretary Islah-o-Irshad, Secretary Rishta Nata, Secretary
Amor-e-Ama, Secretary Waqf-e-Nau, Secretary Taleem, Secretary
Tahrik-e-Jadid, and had the privilege of serving as a **Murabbi Atfal.
Early in 2024, he moved to Canada with his wife and settled in
Western Brampton with his sons, Mukarram Fraz Shabbir Lodhī and
Mukarram Farhan Shabbir Lodhī.
His eldest son, Mukarram Farrukh Shabbir Lodhī Sahib, has been
serving as a missionary in Liberia, West Africa since July 2019 and
was unable to attend his funeral services due to his official duties.
Shabbir Ahmad Lodhī Sahib is survived by his wife(in Canada), three
sons, and a daughter (who resides in the UK).
By the grace of Allah, he was the one who observes Tahajjud, was
committed to performing the five daily prayers, and made a sincere
effort to offer congregational prayers to the best of his ability. He
regularly recited the Holy Qur'an and engaged in the study of Jama'at
literature. He had profound love for Khilafat and was an obedient
servant of Khilafat. He consistently listened to the sermons and
responded positively to the calls of various initiatives.
He diligently observed voluntary fasting while in good health, took an
active part in financial contributions, and showed great affection
towards the Waqf-e-Zindagi members. He respected office-bearers, of
the Jama'at's system, and fostered an environment of loving guidance
and forgiveness.
He demonstrated patience, courage, and complete trust in Allah's will
in times of difficulty, while humbly presenting his concerns before
Allah. He went out of his way to assist others in their difficulties and
harbor no resentment in his heart towards anyone. He served with
humility, always attributing his successes solely to Allah’s grace. He
was just, wise, hospitable, and generous in financial support.
He maintained loyalty to his profession, treated his staff with kindness,
upholded family ties, and showed deep affection towards children and
so on ..
We make heartfelt prayers for the forgiveness of the deceased, that
Allah grants him a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and bestows
patience and strength upon his family. May Allah accept his years of
devoted service to the Jamaat and Islam, and may He grant comfort
and fortitude to his loved ones during this difficult time. Ameen.
