Obituary of Mohammad Akram

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Mian Mohammad Akram Sahib of Durham West Jamā‘at, who passed away on October 7, 2024 at the age of 83 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

 

By the grace of Allah, Respected Mian Mohammad Akram Sahib was a Mūṣī. He was a devoted Ahmadi who led his life in service to the Jamā‘at, having the opportunity to serve in various capacities including as Secretary Ḍiyāfat in Toronto East and as caretaker and Muazzin in the Baitul Hanif Mosque. He was regular in offering of his daily prayers in congregation and the Tahajjud prayer. Respected Mian Mohammad Akram Sahib inculcated this habit and the importance of the Friday Sermon and Friday Prayer in his children. He used to pay special importance to his donations and had a habit of writing letters to Syedna Hadrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) regularly.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
