Obituary of Shafi Ahmed Khan

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Shafi Ahmed Khan Sahib of Durham Jama’at (Northern Ontario), who passed away on February 29, 2020 at the age of 78 years.

Respected Shafi Ahmed Khan Sahib was the grandson of Respected Hazrat Molvi Abdul Wahid Khan Meerutti Sahib (ra), maternal grandson of Respected Hamid Hussain Khan Sahib (ra) who were companions of the Promised Messiah (as) and son in law of Respected Syed Abdur Razzaq Shah Sahib (ra) who was brother of Respected Umm-e-Tahir Sahiba (ra).

He had a deep love of Khilafat and was regular in his daily prayers. May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved family and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
